Plastic surgery is not for me!
Do you think big eyes and a high nose bridge are requirements for an actress?
Not necessarily.
The movie Parasite(기생충) introduced a South Korean actress who is shining to the whole world.
As you might expect, her name is Park So-dam.
She doesn't have sharp features. More than anything , unlike other actresses, she has a
single eyelid.
I guess she must have been required to get a double eyelid surgery before she made a debut. It's because a single eyelid may look stuffy on screen.
However, her eyes express a wide range of emotions. Actually,it's not so uncommon to see plastic surgery monsters on TV dramas or movie screen. We call that kind of monster '성괴'(seong goe) in Korean. In terms of looks, she is one of a kind.
She looks pure and even angelic. As far as I know, among foreigners her popularity is rocketing in the wake of the movie Parasite
(기생충). Thanks to her amazing acting skills and vivid image as well as her unique features, her popularity would last long.
